Genetics short-shrifted by Ethologists?
Anyone else think it ingenuous on the part of thesescientists
that they talk about all these percentages of males to females, and strategies
to favor or not favor a fifty-percent cut, and don't mention the overwhelming
basic influence of genetics?
And what should we make of the concept that suggests
that "Pathologically stressed" human societies favor a polygynous
mating system?
You could almost say, probably with equal "scientific"
weight since they neglected to cite this most extravagant claim, that going
barefoot, or wearing turbans, causes polygynous sexual behavior!
Do Mormons wear turbans?
Are Mormons pathologically stressed by the obtuse
hope that people will believe Jesus walked among the Navaho because it was written
on some Golden Tablets which have since disappeared?
